It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Lee Bates of Sanger, Texas, who passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Rufus Frank Bates; and his sisters, Karen and Sharon Bates. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Ann Bates (Bewley) of Fate, Texas; his wife Sharon Bates (Horn) of Denton, Texas.; his children, Jem Black of Corinth and Danny Bates Jr. of Rowlett; his grandchildren, Payton Black, Jalen Black, Hailey Bates and Hannah Bates; his brother Darryl Bates (Kim); his nephews, Christopher and Jason of Midlothian, Texas; his brother David Bates (Traci); and also Katelynn of Fate, Texas.
