He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anna Mae Carpenter; his daughters, Phyllis Jean Carpenter Hatcher and Lanola Mae Carpenter; his siblings, Gordon, Guy, Curtis Carpenter and Phylis Rae Cornin; his parents, Edith Carpenter and Guy Carpenter; his sisters, Janie Carpenter Kuehn (Ron) and Joyce Carpenter Herr; his children, Kathy Carpenter (Clark) of Sandia, Ronald Dean Jr. Carpenter (Janet) of Corpus Christi and Thomas "Tommy" Richaard Carpenter of Livingston; and his grandchildren, Shane Clark (Courtney) of Houston, Blayne Hatcher (Kristen) of Rockwall, Tammy Clark of Olympia, Cara Hatcher Baez (Julio) of Houston, Katie Clark Cano (Michael) of Sandia, Kristi Carpenter Hatton (Chris) of Livingston, Tyler Carpenter of Livingston and Courtney Nelson (James) of Livingston. He was also cherished by 12 great granddaughters and 6 great grandsons.
