It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Shirley Phillips of Sandia, Texas, born in New Braunfels, Texas, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben W. Liesman and Thusnelda "Tess" Liesman (Nolte); her husband George Phillips; and her siblings, Glen, Kenneth, Butch, Ike Liesman, Bessie and Barbara.
She is survived by: her brother Mike Liesman (Charlotte); her daughters, Chris Wright (M. P.) and Barbara Mann; her grandchildren, Cinco Wright (Chris), Joshua Mann (Jennifer), Mendy Clark (Chris), Cassandra Driscoll (Chris) and Christine Nelson (Stan); and her great grandchildren, Will Wright, Brian Driscoll, Jayce Wright, Colsen Clark, Benjamin Mann, Madison Clark, Calleigh Mann and Ava Clark. She is also survived by nine nephews and three nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Wounded Warriors.
