It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Gamez (San Diego, Texas), born in Kingsville, Texas, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evaristo Gutierrez and Herlinda Gutierrez; her husband Rigoberto Galvan Sr.; and her sister Diamantina Murillo. She is survived by: her children, Delma Galvan Lozano, Anna Galvan Waller (Chris), Rigoberto Galvan and Rosie Loera. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
