He was predeceased by: his parents, Sixto Torres and Concepcion Torres; his wife Zulema P. Torres; and his siblings, Pablo, Alfredo, Domingo, Aurelio Torres, Emilia Aguillon, Francisca Barrera and Rosa Guerra.

He is survived by: his children, Lionel Torres (Rachel), Orlando "Landy" Torrez, Roel "Roy" Torres (Monica), Jo Ann Cadena, Jr. (Amando), David Torres Jr. (Samantha) and LeRoy Torres; and his sister Juanita Sanchez. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
