It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca G. Garcia of San Diego, Texas, who passed away on October 26, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Garcia and Luciana Garcia; and her siblings, Consuelo Benavides, Evelina Tobin (Evelyn), Rafela Villarreal (Fela), Hortencia Garcia (Tencha) and Jesus Garcia (Chuce).
She is survived by: her children, Oscar Garcia, III, Orlando Garcia (Annabelle) of San Antonio, Irma Restaino (Mike) of Michigan and Becky Kageler (Paul) of Lake Jackson, Texas; her grandchildren, Yslea Rasmussen (Chris) of Indiana, Lisa Christine Garcia of San Antonio, Robert Garcia (Meredith) of Colorado, Lyndon Kageler of Lake Jackson and Ali Kabot (Corey) of Michigan; her great grandchildren, Austin Rasmussen of Indiana, Avery and Emily Garcia of Colorado; and her husband Oscar Garcia, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we ask that everyone continue to wear a mask and social distance at the funeral home, church and at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that a contribution to the Oscar G. Garcia III Scholarship Fund which will benefit a San Diego senior attending college. Contributions may be made to the B.J.J.H. Activity fund, mailed to 609 Labbe, San Diego, Texas 78384 Attention: Administration.
