She is survived by: her husband Oscar Mendiola; her children, Michael Christopher Mendiola (Rebecca), Oscar Rene Mendiola (Priscilla) and Reeva Enid Ray (Brian); her siblings, Roland Benavides, Rudy Benavides (Monica), Rhonda Benavides Bornstein (Elliot) and Rosario "Rosie" Benavides; her grandchildren, Ethan A. Chapa, Jena A. Chapa, Kendra N. Mendiola (Troy Garcia), Kristopher M. Mendiola (Alexis), Matthew K. Mendiola, Dara Chapa (Daniel), Joseph Garcia, Rylee E. Ray, Logan T. Ray, Aleida Cantu and Andrea Cantu; and her great grandchildren, Zaiden Chapa, Kolton Casas, Lainey Chapa, Landen Chapa, Amory Mendiola, Alyvia Cantu, Aryc Arriaga, Adrian Arriaga, Aubree Amaya, Arana Amaya and Arely Amaya. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
