It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Matilde L. Yzaguirre (San Diego, Texas), born in Concepcion, Texas, who passed away on August 29, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Lopez and Barbarita Lopez; her husband Bensavio Yzaguirre Sr.; her great grandchild Anyssa Nicole Hinojosa; her siblings, Pablo, Manuel, Rufino, Rafael Lopez and Julia Salas; her daughter Lorrin Ellis Munoz; and her stepdaughter Ernestina Benavides.
She is survived by: her children, Iris Garcia (Noe) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Cynthia Y. Eaton (Earl) of Burke, Virginia and Bensavio Yzaguirre (Marina) of McAllen, Texas; her grandchildren, Rebecca Hinojosa (Oscar), Mary Alice Trueba (Jimmy), Rosemary Fuentes (Eric), Noe Garcia Jr., Jessica Eaton, Jennifer Yzaguirre, Bensavio Yzaguirre III, Vivian Yzaguirre and Christine Munoz; her great grandchildren, Oscar Daniel Hinojosa, Savannah Flores, Patrick Fuentes, Kaileigh Trueba, Breannah Trueba, Mirandah Trueba and Raquel Cavazos; her nephew Manuel Lopez; and her niece Mary Lopez Garcia. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
