She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Carrillo Sr. and Francisca Garcia Carrillo; her husband Sabas R. Chapa; her son Jose Angel Chapa; and her great grandchildren, Uriah Smithwick and Jonathan Chapa.
She is survived by: her children, Sabas Chapa Jr. (Hilda), Roel Chapa, Agapito Chapa, Orlando Chapa (Anna), Margie Elizondo, Hilda Chapa (Jesse), Norma Chapa, Irma Lozano (Balde) and Esmeralda Deathridge (Clay); and her siblings, Oscar Carrillo Jr. (Hortencia), Esquiel Carrillo (Eloida), Baldemar Carrillo, Herminia Vega (Danny) and Nicolasa Torres (Mike). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
