He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Nuñez Sr. and Emeteria S. Nuñez; his wife Rosa Elena R. Nuñez; his children, Severo R. Nuñez, Francisco "Panchi" Nuñez III and Edelmira "Millie" Nuñez; and his siblings, Israel Nuñez, Felipe Nuñez, Idelfonso Nuñez, Emilia N. Chapa and Emerteria N. Garcia.
He is survived by: his children, Elena Nuñez Sanchez (Abel), Elisa N. Martinez and Araceli "Sally" Nuñez Diaz (Jorge); his siblings, Manuela N. Laso, Lucia N. Martinez and Ruben Nuñez; and his grandchildren, Christine Nuñez, Kimberly Leal, Mathew Martinez, Francine Martinez, Jose R. Sanchez, Brenda Nuñez, Luis F. Sanchez and Andres Sanchez. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
