He was predeceased by: his parents, Raul Barrera and Consuelo Lopez Barrera; his brother Raul Barrera; and his great grandchild Brylee Trejo. He is survived by: his wife Blanca E. Barrera; his children, Felix Barrera, Jr., Lee Barrera (Stephanie), Refugia "Cookie" Barrera and Sabrina Barrera; his stepdaughters, Charissee Cardoze (Roberto), Desiree Fernandez (Vicente) and Elyse Garza; and his sisters, Diana Bazan (Rodolfo), Yolanda Barfoot (Sam) and Lucy McCabe (Scott). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
