She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Benavides and Fannie Benavides; and her brothers, Paul, Gabriel and Mart Benavides (William F. Lyon, Jr.).
She is survived by: her grandson Willson; her siblings, Roy and Ann; her son William F. Lyon, III (Heidi); her stepdaughter Debra Cox (Gary); her grandchildren, Billy Jack Cox (Marci), William F. Lyon IV and Jeri Jo Long (Tobin); her great grandchildren, Rachel Carnes (Christian), Lauren and Emma Cox; and her great great grandchildren, Mia and Max Carnes. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Emma's favorite charity was St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
