He was predeceased by: his father Mauro M. Garza; and his siblings, Mauro Garza Jr., Desi Garza, Rogelio Cantu and Cynthia Garza.
He is survived by: his children, Dino Garza Jr. (Denise Munoz), Rino Garza (Crystal), Dion Garza, Zandra Cruz (Joey), Deandra Contreras (Jose), Kianna Garza and Jennah Garza; his mother Bertha L. Garza (Loera); and his siblings, Corina Vidal (Omar), Irene Bueno Garza, Emelinda Garza and Frank Garza (Liza Lopez). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren: numerous nieces and nephews.
