She was predeceased by: her parents, Justo Pereida and Antonia Espinosa Pereida; her husband Roberto V. Ramirez; her daughter Mary Jessie Moss; and her siblings, Jose Vega, Pete Vega, Atanacio Pereida and Anita Vega Arriola.

She is survived by: her son Robert G. Ramirez; her brother Moises Pereida; and her grandchildren, Ruben Sanchez, Marlena Torres, Michael Sanchez, Omar Ramirez Hailey Moss and Oziel Ramirez. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
