With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Angelita S. Briones of San Diego, Texas, born in Alice, Texas, who passed away on September 21, 2021 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemente Samaniego and Leonarda Samaniego; her siblings, Roman Samaniego, Clemente Samaniego Jr., Juan Manuel Samaniego, Elodia Gonzalez, Delfina Vera and Consuelo Perez; and her great grandchild Carina Mia Gonzalez.
She is survived by: her children, Ernesto Briones Jr. (Priscilla) of Hurley, Mississippi, Juan Gabriel Castillo (Christine) of Memphis, Tennessee, Patsy Ramirez (Rolando) of Pearland, Texas and Theresa Cruz (Martin) of San Diego, Texas; and her sisters, Luz Perez (Humberto), Carmen, Barbara and Eloisa Sepulveda (Roberto). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; numerus nieces and nephews.
