It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alicia Gonzalez (San Diego, Texas), born in Banquete, Texas, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Pruneda and Simona Pruneda; her husband Carlos Gonzalez Sr.; her granddaughter Mercadez Rae Gonzalez; and her sisters, Guadalupe Hernandez, Paula, Herminia and Carolina.
She is survived by: her son Carlos Gerardo Gonzalez (Liza); her siblings, Maria, Gloria Reyes (Carlos), Olivia Bernal (Librado), Silvano Pruneda (Irma), Jose Pruneda and Juan Pruneda (Sylvia); her brother-in-law Reynaldo Hernandez; and her grandchildren, Clarissa Soto, Bryan Carlos Gonzalez and Blake Charles Gonzalez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
