He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Salazar and Guadalupe Salazar; and his siblings, Manuela Saldivar, Jose Salazar, Gilbert Salazar and David Salazar.
He is survived by: his spouse Terry; his children, Juan Antonio Salazar (Sylvia), Diana Salazar, Paul Escobedo and Jeremiah Salazar (Alyssa); his grandchildren, Jonathan Salazar, Sierra Zepeda, Sergio Gutierrez, Orlando Gutierrez, Leilani Zee, Micaela Reyna, Keila Escobedo, Nicholas Escobedo, Megan, Mariah, Michael Escobedo, Karen Salazar, Katie Salazar, Nathaniel, Savian, Kaydence and Jace Salazar; his great grandchild Jayden Gutierrez; and his sister Lisa Cortez.
