She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin Lyles and Ethel Pitts Lyles; her husband Jerry W. Medlock; and her grandson Psalm Reaves. She is survived by: her children, Jerry W. Medlock, Jr. of Dallas, Karen Elizabeth Sweet of Irving, Janet Lynn Reaves of Corpus Christi, Pamela Kay Brecht of Florida and Stephen Andrew Medlock of Rusk. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces, nephews.
