He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Alonzo Prater and Ada Lee Cash Prater; his former wife Cecelia Jane MacDaniel; and his wives, Nelda Grace Haught Bucklew and Jennifer Helen Jensen May.
He is survived by: his children, Nikki Graham (Tim), Laura Visconti Adkins (Mike), Brian Bucklew, Becky Schwotzer (Eric) and Cheri Miller (Jim); his stepsons, Brian May (Melanie) and Scott May (Katia); his grandchildren, David Graham (Tamyca), Kyle Visconti, Ryan Schwotzer (Amanda), Owen Schwotzer (Lindsay), Rachel Tracy (Tim), Brittany Miller, Stephanie Flower (Ian), Joshua Miller, Isabel May, Thomas May, Kate May and Vicky May; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Lacey, Brooke Schwotzer, Madelyn Schwotzer, Adelaide and Elinor Tracy; and his sister-in-law Carol Garrison (Grant).
