LuEtta Coletta (Abney) Peterson-Bright Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LuEtta Coletta (Abney) Peterson-Bright (Round Rock, Texas), born in Rockwell City, Iowa, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 80. Survived by her brother, Roger Abney and sister, Peggy Easterwood. Her children, Randy Peterson and Valerie McMicken, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; all residing in Central Texas. In her youth she enjoyed reading, baking, roller skating and singing. She was a happy, artistic person who loved to paint ceramics, arrange flowers and decorate her home with sunflowers. She never missed a birthday or holiday, her birthday on Christmas Eve was a yearly event that brought her great JOY! She loved travelling with her late husband Frank, walking on the beach and staying at her timeshares in Branson, MO. Her greatest professional accomplishments were her Beauty Salon in Iowa and her Financial Planning Business in Texas. Her legacy of love will live forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace.
