He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph George Goergen, Sr. and Jeanette Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Goergen of Round Rock; and his children, Vikki Branning of Lake Jackson, Anna Bedos of Virginia, Barbara Jo Goergen of Dallas, Peter Navarrette of Austin and Michel Navarrette of Georgetown. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home or the American Heart Association.
