He is survived by: his wife Lainey Morris of Blacksburg; his pets, Sabor and Nezuko; his mother Rebecca Rakes; his stepfather Robert Rakes of Christiansburg; his father Charlie Olinger of Blacksburg; his brothers, Trey Shumate (Adrienne Crouse) of Rock Hill, SC and Daniel Olinger (Kayla Criner) of Christiansburg; his niece Payton Olinger; his nephew Baylor Olinger; and his grandmother Honora Hay of Fairlawn, VA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
