She was predeceased by: her father Felix Bernard Schwertner, Jr.; her grandson Jimmy Bernard Proctor; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Schwertner and Louis Blackmore. She is survived by: her daughter Christine Schwertner-Tovar (Mike Tovar); her stepdaughters, Heather Smyer (Dallas Smyer), Chloe Schwertner and Markie Schwertner (Jeffrey V.); her grandchildren, Cole Smyer, Zoe Ochoa, Krista Lara, Ashlyn Ochoa, Alysia Lara, Olivia Smyer, Nicholas Lara, Kaleb Smyer, Nevaeh Seelig, Jackson Smyer and Evie Seelig; and her siblings, Dorothy Blackmore, Richard Schwertner, Susan Dotson (Dale), Joe Schwertner, Jacqueline Allison, Elaine Crane (Leaon), John Schwertner (Belinda) and Elizabeth Berumen (Alex).
