He is survived by: his children, Daniel Gardiner of Rockdale, Ryan Gardiner (Heather) of Washington, Michael Gardiner, Jr. (Meghan) and Maria Carpentino (Henry) of Rockdale; his grandsons, Isaiah Sauls of Rockdale, Brody Lopez of Rockdale and Anthony Lopez of Rockdale; his sisters, Debbie (John) of California, Cindy (Eric) of Georgia and Karen of California; and his caregiver Lisa Richardson of Rockdale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
