It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Balvina Zapata of Rockdale, Texas, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Balvina Zapata to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andres Morales and Jovita Morales (Vasquez); her husband Irineo Zapata; her grandson Kevin Zapata; and her sisters, Rosa Ortega and Lupe Torres.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Zapata (Lollie) of Tyler, Eddie Zapata (Lotti) of Round Rock and Jeff Zapata (Kelley) of Rockdale; her grandchildren, Amanda Thompson (Andrew), Jason Zapata (Kristen), Aaron Zapata and Jenny Breithaupt (Justin); her great grandchildren, Manuel Thompson, Karley Breithaupt, Kaleb Breithaupt, Hayden Zapata and Olivia Zapata; and her siblings, Margaret Morales of Taylor, Janie Morales of Taylor, Mary Hinostroza of San Gabriel, Annie Dominguez of Taylor and Mike Morales of Taylor.
