She was predeceased by: her parents, Ciria Alfaro and Genaro Alfaro, Jr.; her son Jesus Herrera, Jr.; and her brother Roberto Alfaro. She is survived by: her husband Jesus Herrera, Sr.; her daughters, Enedelia Rodriguez (Hector) and Elisa Castañeda (Ricardo); her granddaughters, Abigail Smart (Joseph) and Jan Rodriguez (Mario); and her great grandchild Emelyn Faith Rodriguez.
