He was predeceased by: his parents, Katie May Prater and Troy Arvil Prater; his sister Carolyn Forbis; and his brother-in-law Lewis Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Allan Prater (Brandi) and Kris Fogie (Clint); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Andreason (Alex), Tomas Prater, Clint Fogie, Joshua Fogie and Jacob Fogie; his great grandchild Sawyer Andreason; his grandchildren, Naomi Andreason and Ephraim Andreason; and his sisters-in-law, Jeannie Chamberlain (Bill) and Marva Rogers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Tim's name to Camp Hope, PTSD Foundation of America.
