He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Gustavis "Gus" Cole and Clara T "Shortie" Durham Cole; his sons, Robert Cole and Loyd Cole; his brothers, Elvin Guinn "Pete" Cole (Bonnie), Burgess Dale "Doodle" Cole (Margie), Martin Randolph Cole (Betty) and James Gordon "Jim" Cole; and his brother-in-law Oscar Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Cole; his sons, Leonard Cole (Vickie) and Ronald Cole (Becky); his daughter-in-law Patsy Cole; his sister Mary Cole Shelton; his grandchildren, Dallas Cole, Amy Bellah, Cobie Cole, Casey Cole (Heather), Calley Cole, Melissa Stuart (Clark), Stephanie Jones (Terry) and Tyler Cole (Morgan); and his sister-in-law Sue Cole. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces & nephews.
