She was predeceased by: her parents, James Charles Hanka and Lydia Meleese Bright; and her brother Paul Hanka. She is survived by: her husband Michael Koch; her children, Catherine Koch Bennett (Brian), Justus Koch III, Theodore Koch, Elizabeth Talafuse (Andrew) and Patrick Koch; her grandchildren, Amelia Koch, Madison Koch, Evelyn Bennett, Maya Koch and Adrian Koch; and her brothers, James Hanka II, Thomas Hanka (Janie), Peter Hanka (Lucy) and Joseph Hanka (Melanie Hanka). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Our Lady of Consolation Women's Club of Vattman, Texas, 204 Palm, Rivera, TX 78379.
