He is survived by: his wife Juanita Escochea; his children, Juaquin Escochea (Connie), Edward Escochea (Mary), Irene Escochea, Aurora Escochea, Michael Escochea (Brandi) and Rene Escochea (Joanna); and his brothers, Refugio Escochea and Juan Escochea (Maria). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
