It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Alvarez Cruz of Richmond, Texas, born in Sugar Land, Texas, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Domingo G. Cruz Sr.; and her sons, Johnny A. Cruz and Domingo A. Cruz Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Beatrice C. Cortinas (Ruben Cortinas), Janie C. Gonzales (David R. Gonzales Sr.), Yolanda C. Rodriguez (Geraldo Rodriguez Sr.), Laura A. Cruz, Daniel A. Cruz (Robert Sullivan) and Michael A. Cruz (Nohemi Cruz); and her sister Natividad Lopez. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
