He was predeceased by: his son Byron Dale Lingnau; his parents, Erwin Lingnau Sr. and Marie Lingnau; his in-laws, Robert Schimara (Bob) and Flossie Mae Schimara; his brother-in-law Bobby Schimara; and his sister Doris Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Lingnau (Schimara) of Richmond; his children, Brian Lingnau (Donna) and Shelly Schmidt (Garren); his nephew Jimmie; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sherrie Grant, Bridget Robinson (Schimara) and Stacy Cockerham (Schimara).
