He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramona Valdez Almazan and Emanuel Almazan Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Rodriguez Almazan; his children, Emanuel (Vallerie), Amanda (Socorro), Solomon (Stephanie) and Sergio; his brothers, Salvador (Michelle), Lucio (Lydia), Marco (Delores) and Jose Armando; and his grandchildren, Amaya, Tristan, Ashtynn, Dominic Almazan, Alanna, Elina, Romeo Benavides and Lyanna Almazan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
