Louise Young Obituary

Louise Young, age 85, of Quinlan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 23, 2023, in Greenville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Ingram Funeral Home with burial to follow at IOOF Cemetery in Quinlan. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the funeral service.

Thelma Louise Young was born on June 3, 1938, in Quinlan to Mr. John Elbert Reagan and Daisy Inez Green Reagan. She married Loren Bradford Young on December 23, 1991, in Durant, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on January 5, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Daisy Reagan and a brother, Emmitt Ray Reagan. She worked for 31 years for Mead Products in Garland, Texas. Louise was an exceptional artist and enjoyed creating art with paint, pastels, and charcoal.

She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Sherry Chennault, and husband Jimmy of Commerce; Son, Jacky Goleman and wife Kathy of Quinlan; Sister, Patricia Pippin of Caddo Mills; Grandson, Clint Goleman of Quinlan; Granddaughters, Kimberly Swinger and husband Jeff of Rockwall, Carrie Chennault and wife Andee of Fort Collins, Colorado; Meagan Myers and husband Robert of Arlington. Great Grandchildren; Taylor Edwards of Woodlands and Kinsley Swinger of Rockwall, Chase and Callie Myers of Arlington, Mariah Kaule of Kalkaska, Michigan; Ashlyn Goleman of Knoxville, Tennessee and Great Grandson, Jordan Manis of Rockwood, Tennessee.
