She was predeceased by: her parents, Judson Partin and Ila Partin; her former husband James Irwin Thompson; her husband Richard Lamar Carlton; and her brothers, Jack Partin and David Partin.
She is survived by: her daughter Ila Karen Thompson (Christopher Sciarini) of Fort Myers; her sister Marla Outlaw (David) of Lake Wales; and her grandchildren, Averi Covarrubas, Dylan Ramage, Kristen Marlene Watson, Amanda Sellars, Lauren Faulks and Ryan Sumpter. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
