He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Morris Johnson Sr. and Mabel Vanessa Johnson (Greene); and his siblings, David Johnson, John Henry Johnson and Vanessa Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Andrea Kay Jackson of Queen City, TX; his son Thomas Johnson (Vivian); his grandchildren, Madeleine, Marvin of Germany and Morris Johnson (Sandra); and his sisters, Jean Roquemore of Kildare, TX, Lois Wade of Nacogdoches, TX and Joyce Polk of Dallas, TX..
