He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick McCoart and Pearl McCoart; and his sisters, Dorothy Richardson, Marjorie Silva and Rosemary Kate.
He is survived by: his sons, Joe McCoart (Brenda) of Bivins and Jeff McCoart (Paula) of Southlake, Texas; his grandchildren, Selena McCoart, Jeffery McCoart (Robyn), Rachel Crow (Blake), Emily Wasson (Ryan), Gabe McCoart, Lance Hawley, Chad Hawley, Jay Hawley (Megan) and Ryan Hawley; and his close friend Marcelle Yates. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
