She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Staton and Martha Staton (Daniel); her former husband Joseph Hudson, Jr.; her son Joseph Hudson III; and her grandson Jonathan Carender.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Grimes of Pottsboro, TX; her daughter Teresa Carender (Gerald) of Edmond, OK; her stepdaughter Shelia Lewis of Pottsboro, TX; her siblings, Ron Staton (Debbie) of Baltimore, MD and Nancy Knight of Baltimore, MD; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Robison and Christopher Carender. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
