He is survived by: his sons, Shawn Brandon Ard of Pottsboro, Ryan Haynie Ard of Needville and Lauren; his granddaughters, Allyson, Claire and Macy; his siblings, Jan Moon (Jimmy), James Haynie Ard (Lanelle), Steven Ard and Reenie; his parents, Colonel James Haynie Ard and Robbie Faye Meeker; and his stepfather Colonel Thomas Bailey Meeker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
