It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan King of Pottsboro, Texas, born in McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 13, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Phifer and Clara Lee Phifer; her husband David Michael King; and her siblings, Rick Phifer and Jean Gillin.
She is survived by: her friends, K. C. Hall and F. W. Joan; her daughter Elaine; her brother Bob Phifer of Savanna, OK; her siblings-in-law, Ray and Rachel Morris of Amarillo, TX; and her cousins, Danna Lewis and Linda Gates.
