He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Glenn and Billie Lorene Thurston (Montgomery); his daughter Debbie Lynn Thurston; and his sisters, Billie Jean Mason and Sherrie Lynn Whisenhunt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Rock Lee Thurston and Glenda Fay Fairbrother (Kevin) of Pottsboro; his grandchildren, Jessica Fay Leird (Jay) of Dallas, Luke Lee Fairbrother (Tiffany) of Plano, Rocky Lee Thurston (RL) and Adrian of Sherman; his great grandchildren, Chase, Ezra, Eli and Cole Thurston; and his siblings, Barbara Dawson of Cleves, Betty Louise Thorn of Canton, Texas and Allen Wayne Thurston (Delores) of Tyler, Texas..
