He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Blevins and Willie Mae Blevins; and his siblings, Lonnie, Leonard, Willie James, Robert Lynn Blevins, Nora Byers and Elva Lou Blevins.

He is survived by: his sister Eva Belle Diaz of Pomona; and his children, Ronny Blevins (Liz) of Brazoria, TX, Eric Rushing of Livingston, TX, Michelle Blevins Alexander (Robert) of Tomball, TX, Teresa Cochran (Randy) of Houston, TX and Kimberly Hollister of Brenham, TX. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, numerous extended family members, and friends.
