She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mikula and Matilda Jakubik Mikula; her husband James Troy Hayes; and her siblings, Berthie Jo Mikula, Ollie Marie Cuellar and Ludwig C. Mikula.

She is survived by: her children, Marianna Knight (David) and Jimmy Hayes (Paula); her niece Dale Ann Griffith (Kavin); her grandchildren, Ellen Heiman, Cassidy Hayes, Everleigh Henke and Landry Hayes; and her great grandchildren, Hannah Heiman, Hayes Heiman, Hagen Heiman and Brehm Henke.
