She is survived by: her children, Jaime Olivares, Becky Smith (Steven) and Joyce Rivera (Rudy); her grandchildren, Jaime Olivares II, Christara Smith, Carmelita Smith, Julia Rivera and Xavier Rivera; her siblings, Reynaldo Villalobos (late Elena), Valdemar Villalobos, Encarnacion Ignacio Villalobos (Linda), Yolanda Quintanilla (Noe), Alma Reyna (Ruben) and Esperanza "Hopey" Quintanilla (Ernesto); and her sister-in-law Maria Villalobos (late Juan).

She also received the Volunteer of the Year Award for her support and numerous donations to the community.
