He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline; his sister Minnie Herrera; and his great grandchild Jayce Villarreal. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Salazar (Bobby Joe), Julie Hernandez, Sandra Salazar (Benny), Lisa Salazar and Michael Salazar; his siblings, Irene Gonzales (David), Ernest Salazar (Rosa), Alfred Salazar (Theresa) and Lupito Salazar (Susie); and his brother-in-law Gregorio Herrera. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren with one on the way and 1 great great granddaughter.
