She is survived by: her grandson Thomas Mendez; her great grandchild Hopie Gonzalez; her children, Eloy Mendez (Irma) of Lindsay, OK, Oscar Mendez of Arlington, TX, Mary Roberts of Grapevine, TX, Sylvia Ortiz (Carl) of Austin, TX and Stella Mendez of Guymon, OK; her son-in-law Foster Ocanas of Irving, TX; her granddaughter Angelina (Lisa Perez); and her sisters-in-law, Odelia Soliz of California, Celia Contreras of Poteet, TX and Ofelia of San Antonio. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
