It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Zimmel (Pipe Creek, Texas), who passed away on April 24, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Zimmel and Alice Josephine Zimmel (Quinn); and his siblings, Lyle Zimmel and Elaine Engstrom. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Zimmel (Dunn); his children, Kathy Judd, Marcia Garvin (Rick), Brenda Thomas (Bill) and Alan Zimmel (Jane); his sister Carol Dell; his grandchildren, Tim Boogaard, Jason Garvin, Matthew Garvin, Brittany Garvin, Andy Zimmel, Jesse Zimmel and Ryan Zimmel; and his great grandchildren, Abby Boogaard, Liam Boogaard and Madi Boogaard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
