He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion George Jacks and Bessie Beatrice Wood; and his daughter Dianne Jacks (Wellborn). He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jacks of Pineland; his sons, Richard "Ricky" Jacks (Kim) of Tatum and Larry Thomas Jacks (Kelli) of Carthage, Texas; and his close friends, Metra Webb and Vincent Martinez. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
