It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Campbell Ellis in Pilot Point, Texas, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on July 30, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert LeRoy Ellis and Elizabeth Harriet Campbell; his wife Waletta "Billie" Jean; and his siblings, Bruce Ellis and Brenda Ellis.
He is survived by: his children, Robert V. Ellis of Albuquerque, Brice Bloom-Ellis (Ilene) of St. Louis, Missouri, Bradley Ellis (Grace) of Maunaloa, Hawaii, Marla Jean Gaby (Craig) of Pilot Point, Texas and Amy Kaster of La Marque, Texas; and his siblings, Bill Ellis of Urbandale, Iowa, Barbara Burke of Iowa City and Beth Olson of Grenada Hills, California.. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twentyfour great-grandchildren.
