It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Edwin Peacock of Pilot Point, Texas, born in Whitney, Texas, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loran Peacock and Pearl Peacock (Behringer); his wife Betty Ruth Curtis; and his daughters, Diana Gail Spinks and Connie Jean Peacock.
He is survived by: his son Curtis Edwin Peacock (Holly) of Pilot Point, TX; and his grandchildren, Ray Spinks (Chelsea) of Celina, TX, Josh Bahlman (Kayla) of Sterling City, TX, Kyle Peacock (Jackie) of Krugerville, TX, Keith Peacock (Ashton) of Pilot Point, TX, Kody Peacock of Pilot Point, TX and Heather Nelson (Kevin) of Argyle, TX. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nephews and nieces.
